Can’t trust that day …

Monday, Monday …

Woke up this morning to thunderstorms. It was raining, lightening, everything is frightening!

It’s also exciting to watch.

Can never choose between a light, mellow rain or a thunderous storm. Each brings on different moods to carry away all your woes, send you to a chair to curl up with a good book, or send you to your bed … pull the covers over your head … and pray for a better day.

Yikes, rhyming time … So why not the best rhymes for a Monday. Going back to the days of tie-dye, granny dresses and every skinny girl had long straight hair parted in the middle.

Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn’t guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Monday Monday, can’t trust that day,
Monday Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way
Oh Monday morning, you gave me no warning of what was to be
Oh Monday Monday, how yould cou leave and not take me.

Every other day, every other day,
Every other day of the week is fine, yeah
But whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comes
You can find me cryin’ all of the time

Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn’t guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Every other day, every other day,
Every other day of the week is fine, yeah
But whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comes
You can find me cryin’ all of the time

Yo, Mama.  Once upon a time,
There was another just like you.
And they called her,
